Individual child therapy
Helping children and young people navigate emotional, social and behavioural challenges.
Is individual therapy right for my child?
Individual therapy can help children and young people who are experiencing:
Anxiety (general, social, phobia or panic-related)
Low mood or depression
Low self-esteem
Behavioral difficulties, including anger management
Obsessions and compulsions (OCD)
Emotional regulation challenges
Trauma and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Loss, grief, or family separation
Sleep disturbances
Peer relationship difficulties
Attachment concerns
Every child’s journey is unique. Whether they are experiencing everyday worries or more complex challenges, we provide a safe space for them to heal and grow.
How therapy works
Free initial consultation
We start with a no-pressure conversation to understand your concerns and see if individual therapy is the right fit for your child.
You can either book a free phone call or send us a message using the contact form - whatever feels most comfortable for you.
Comprehensive assessment
Before therapy begins, we conduct a thorough assessment including:
30-minute conversation with parents/caregivers
90-minute session with your child
Summary letter with our recommendations
Weekly therapy sessions
50-minute sessions tailored to your child's age and needs:
Younger children: Play-based activities and creative techniques.
Older children/teens: Talking therapy and practical coping strategies
All sessions: Evidence-based approaches.
Child therapy fees
Our initial assessment cost £390 (required before therapy begins).
Individual therapy sessions cost £130 per 50-minute session.
Frequency
Usually weekly or bi-weekly, depending on your child's needs
Flexibility
We regularly review progress together, and you can adjust frequency or take breaks as needed.
Payment
We accept private payment, which is taken at the time of your appointment.
Paying with health insurance?
While we may be able to accept clients using health insurance, this must be discussed in advance. Just be aware that any difference between our fee and what your insurer covers would need to be paid by you.
